hiya,
It’s just a case of wait and see the hospital can’t say whether the radiotherapy
will work or not, but they won’t say if surgery is possible or not you can’t get a
positive answer from the hospital, I guess they’ll be doing all they can for him
we may get to know something in a fortnights time when the treatment gets
completed, I’ve got my fingers crossed for him he’s a smashing lad he’s never
done anybody any harm in his life quite the opposite, we’re not blood brothers
his Mam married my Dad he was 5 I was 6 so I’m really all he’s got apart from
his daughter who is devastated about her Dad. At the moment it’s a case of no
news is good news.
thanks harry, long retired.
Hi Harry,
Hope you brother gets over his nasty illness. The hospitals and consultants will never commit themselves concerning the outcome of a serious situation like your brothers. Its a horrible situation for you and his daughter having to wait and hope that he will be OK. Keep your chin up Harry, you know more about fighting these things than most.
Cheers Dave.
hiya,
Well is everybody parcelled up ready for Christmas, just done mine while the “other half”
is out shopping, all fingers and thumbs, would be easier for me to rope and sheet a sky
load on a trailer than make a tidy job of presents, there’s bits of of Cellotape everywhere,
at least the “other half’s” didn’t take much doing a little box about two inches square is
the main prezzie but a little something else still to buy but will pay extra to get that gift
wrapped in the store, so it only leaves me to wish “and I say this only loosely (my fans)” a
Very Happy and Prosperous Christmas and Santa is good to you, Oh’ and for (Dave DTR)
and if any Boyo’s look in at my rubbish, NADOLIG LLAWEN.

Hmn, a bottle a week eh? Lightweight. An old lady I knew (poor owd lass died recently, 102, a good age) she got through a bottle of whisky EVERY DAY., and she still had a driving licence although I think she just kept it to show off. She was born in India and was married to a British Army officer when they ruled the roost in India. She was a fine old lady,

Hiya Harry the best advice would be I think invest in another Tkt:Then take your
self down to the wmc=blegion=pub or aldi for some cheap plonk. And have a couple
of hours of pure happiness with what is left.
Freddie Have a good new year to you all.
Hope your brother is a little better.
hiya,
Brother no better was with him Saturday and Sunday, went to Preston (Fulwood)
using my own route as used by the Blackpool buses from the North East which is
the way I always go 112 miles clocked up when returning I followed the route as
recommended by Google which of course brings you down to Scotch Corner I did
know that this would add more mileage 128 miles another 16 miles or in my case
with my gas guzzler, an extra two and a half quid, although it is quicker and the
good lady was dropping hints about the moths in my wallet needing fresh air and
her needing food so via Scotch Corner it was.
thanks harry, long retired.
Fair old trip Harry, especially under the circumstances with your Brothers illness. At least you didn’t have winter weather to contend with. I’ve never been to Scotch Corner. May get up there one day.
I hope your Brother isn’t in to much pain.
Cheers Dave.
