Hi guys just a quick question does anyone know if the tramping units at the green group have fridges?(mercedes actros)

Nah he doesn’t BB, he does drive a green truck but it certainly isn’t for them. Iirc there is a poster or two on here who has/is worked(ing) for them.

Wouldn’t it be easier to phone them up and ask?
I’d walk around the corner to the yard and look for you, but I’ve just make a cuppa

As far as I’m aware it’s mainly curtainsider work,running a few flats but not many,never seen them pulling fridges,there was a thread running a few weeks back about them if you want to look it up.

Think he’s asking if the trucks have fridges mate not if they pull reefers. I’d hazzard a guess and say I bet they have.

Got a good mate who works there, he has a 15 plate Actros, and it’s cheaper than the cheapest fleet spec. In his words he is surprised they didn’t take the radios out to make em 50p cheaper.

And he is out all week!

No,fridges don’t come as standard,as far as I’m aware there is one or two drivers that have had fridges installed but they are full timers.I do a lot of work for GG but I’ve not driven every unit so I can’t be absolutely sure

son works for them no fridges in units and they use trucks 24/7 so trampers truck goes out with any old driver :smiley:

Had the pleasure of talking to the bloke who drives the 100th truck for this outfit, spent 2 hours being told how great green group are how brilliant he Is at driving, how great his fully specced truck is (even offered me to go and have a look at it) because of his shiny alloys… But he told me the pay is a little low, I said but hey you get a shiny truck to drive he said yeah thats true■■? :open_mouth: :astonished: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

My first job 21 was with osbourne and i was the same :blush: worked all week payed my mam abit of board and ■■■■■■ the rest up a wall at the weekend…just about had enough for a cup of tea monday morning :unamused:

Despite their yard only being less than a stones throw from my home, I seriously doubt I’ll ever get the urge to work for this outfit
