the blue mercedes truck is ex Tomsetts transport from newhaven it was a G reg or H reg
Apologies for the quality, these were taken in the early 90’s and scanned with an antiquated hand held scanner. Location the old East Germany a couple of years after the wall came down.
W J Furber in Prees is a great place,i’ve been a good few times for spares for some of our older trucks.
I too could spend all day there have not been in about 3 years though.

liking the big leylands fryskewhat is sad is that these were once someones pride & joy , when they were shiney & new , & some look like they were parked up with little wrong but were never gone back to.
shame to see these workhorses bought & just forgotten about , they’ll stay till they rust where they lie , but in many cases , if you tried buying one , the ownwers would want a fortune for them !on a farm near dorchester

there was a couple of companies in wolverhampton which ran lorries with this colour scheme.
1/ wulfruna coal in horsley fields wolverhampton
2/ just down the road from wulfruna coal was a transport firm wise and company limited,they ran ergomatics but dont know if they had tippers
