They all do that. Most times they will be quoting you their cost price or maybe even less than they can buy it for to get you in on a loss leader then put the price up over the coming months. I’m paying about 102.
What Silver Surfer says, I already have several cards but still get offers in the post from the same companies offering to open a new card account at several pence less than what I’m already paying, but by the time the thing is set up, hey presto the price for the new account is very similar to what I’m already on, if you want cheap fuel shop around for it @ petrolprices.com/ and pay on the credit card and earn the relevant points available from the retailers into the bargain.

Today I received a letter through the post from diesel card solutions claiming to have a pretty decent price ( 100.99 i think ).

Well I gave them a call and spoke to a sales guy there he is saying its the price people are actually paying. I took a couple out just to see there free so why not. Should be here by Friday he reckons. I will update what price he gives me but I wont hold my breath.
