Just watched a great documentry on the building of the Forth Bridge, it was really good! the technology of the time, plus the vehicles (plenty Fodens) and of course the the workers!! health and safety■■? they couldn’t build it like that now. MAGIC. :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :smiley: :smiley:

Think i’ve seen one also Kevmac,made me nervous watching them walking up those cables! Was it the DVD that give you a bit of a insight into the little islands in the Forth estuary at the end?

No Pete, it was a program on BBC4, 8pm last night. I rarely watch the box so was very lucky to catch it. Regards Kev.

I remember going on those ferries when we lived at Rosyth when my Dad was in the navy, didn’t catch what happened to them on the programme, were they eventually scrapped sold or what?

Very interesting programme, like you say, plenty of Fodens and this little beauty.
