Obvious same person, is obvious. I think you will find that Malc was actually joking - he didn’t expect people to actually do it.
For the [zb] record I’ve been too busy at work for the past 2 days and I have MUCH better things to do than make 2 accounts to make 2 entries. Personally I’m not too fussed it was a long shot for me to win anyway I haven’t even passed my test yet (But my tests being booked between the 18th - 26th of January) but I gave it a shot anyway with the off chance maybe they’d give me that chance.
I’ve got better things to do with my time than create a false account to try ‘boost’ my chances of winning. And if mods want to check my account with the other to see if we’re using the same IP address to clarify this feel free.
Perhaps you need to CHECK again and get a [zb] life. As for me I’m at work again tomorrow. So have a nice day.

Most competitions / offers require a degree of participation . No one was asked to send a begging letter , I thought the requirement was to send a brief resume of why you should be selected . Seems a lot fairer that just putting names in a hat . Again good luck to everyone who has benefitted from this very generouus offer .

Think it’s a great offer but imho i think it should be just down to names and addresses in a hat and the luck of the draw after that, writing begging letters to complete strangers is not for me.
It’s difficult to decide how to select winners. 2 years ago I picked a single winner, Ian. Wow the controversy surrounding that was huge. Last year I thought stay away from the selection process and Ian chose Dan. I have never asked why he chose Dan but at the time took Dean’s suggestion on board to include the CPC Mod4 even though it was not part of the original offer. It was something I had overlooked.
This year I thought let the people who have been through our process and understand our way of operating decide. The reason I asked for a few words explaining their reasons for wanting to win is because I wanted the courses to go to deserving people who would truly benefit from the opportunity.
I have read every entry and i’m glad I didn’t have to choose because every entry was from the heart and all very deserving. Sorry if you didn’t get picked.

We don’t contact the people who enter. This offer was not made available to the general public via our website or advertising. Only on here. This is the only board I have ever posted on and I only do so to generally help with advice where I sense it is being asked for. In saying that several members have booked and passed with us, but that is not my motive. Like you Pete I have been around for a while and probably know more than most (not all) about this game and can help when needed.

You think you’ve got it all worked out by using a mobile device on a different IP to post from your DAF-MAN name, hence all the bluster about contacting admin to check the IP, but you seem to be forgetting that I work in this field and am fully versed with such tactics.
Not only is it abundantly clear to anyone with an ounce of intelligence that the posts were made by the same person simply due to the style, layout, grammar, use of certain words, variation of the same name and posting times, but if that were not enough to convince someone you then go on to say “If you can get proof ( not just your paranoia) then ill admit it…”. FAIL. Why would you admit something that you haven’t done? 
Do you say that to the cops when you’re arrested for something you’ve haven’t done too? “No it definitely wasn’t me, but if you can prove it was me then I’ll admit it!”.
By saying you’ll admit it being you if I can prove it just leaves you looking rather foolish. Now, would you like a few more shovels down there to continue with that rather large hole you’ve got going 
or are you going to MTFU and admit you’ve been caught with your pants down and slope off to the sidelines with a little bit of dignity remaining?

Hehe, I’m actually starting to enjoy the attention of Rob K now. It’s a great theory and, looking at the evidence, I’d probably think you were on to something if I didn’t know any better.
Jonny, I was also angry when I first read the accusation…and I think we’ve both probably over-reacted / protested too much. Rob is clearly just a wind-up merchant so it’s no big deal.
