Think it’s a great offer but imho i think it should be just down to names and addresses in a hat and the luck of the draw after that, writing begging letters to complete strangers is not for me.

Obvious same person, is obvious. I think you will find that Malc was actually joking - he didn’t expect people to actually do it.
For the ■■■■■■■ record I’ve been too busy at work for the past 2 days and I have MUCH better things to do than make 2 accounts to make 2 entries. Personally I’m not too fussed it was a long shot for me to win anyway I haven’t even passed my test yet (But my tests being booked between the 18th - 26th of January) but I gave it a shot anyway with the off chance maybe they’d give me that chance.
I’ve got better things to do with my time than create a false account to try ‘boost’ my chances of winning. And if mods want to check my account with the other to see if we’re using the same IP address to clarify this feel free.
Perhaps you need to CHECK again and get a ■■■■■■■ life. As for me I’m at work again tomorrow. So have a nice day.

Same here. Usually keep myself to myself, saw the offer and wrote in. First time I’ve won something worthwhile before (except for £10 on the lottery years ago).

I find the response rate fascinating. Is it sceptisism? Maybe folk didn’t see the offer. Whatever the reason, it’s disappointing.
I have no idea what John does with the data he has now collected. If I were him I would be using it to sell courses to the ones who didn’t win. But when there’s only 9 applicants for 3 courses it’s a ridiculously low ratio.
For this type of offer to work as a commercial exercise I estimate a requirement of around 20 applicants per course. That way, there’s a fair chance that you’ll sell another 3 or 4 courses. And that makes it a cost effective exercise.
John has done this before so he must have an idea of the estimated response.
I have never made this offer so I have no idea.
I repeat that I dont know what John does with the data he now has. For all I know, he does nothing with it.
