The Eddie Stobart Spotters Thread

Joycey:
Hi gill we have px57 bfm in our yard (ex Stobart) any history on it?

Hello Joycey

PX57 BFM is a Scania R420 tractor unit, who’s fleet number and name when in the Stobart fleet where: H5221 Tonia.

I’m sure the truck was a Lillyhall based artic but I’m not 100% sure on that but I do remember seeing it a lot out of their

It was sold on September 2010 and ended up at Scania Washington and was eventually sold on after a little while

I’m not sure on the current owner details for the truck but that’s what I know about the truck

I hope this helps marra

Kindest regards

wheelyb:
Why haven’t they given Stobart Automotive trucks girls names?

Hello wheelyb

Simply because marra the ex Autologic trucks are going to be replaced with in the next 1 to 3 years and they decided against naming them and also putting the full cab wrap on

Only new car transporters to the fleet will be named and eventually after a fleet replacement programme, all car transporters will have a girls name on marra

Hope this helps marra

Hello dew

Not far wrong marra, it was taken Last Friday (23rd August)

Saw it later on in the day with a digger on the back and the lads in the Stobart Rail yard said it was heading for West ■■■■■■■

They are! They has been some suggestion that the Zetros might be used for logging!

Only time will tell
