Saw this today heading West on the 66 as I was heading East. I don’t like the front end, they should’ve put some colour in to break up the grilles

I could agree more with you marra. They should have cab wrapped the grill too to make it look better
I think the new FH is dreadful and the new Renault is also not great

H190 (Rebecca Emily: PO11 FYG), the owner driver owned Stobart Renault Magnum, recently gone up for sale at EVS Truck Sales Ltd.
The truck, has had its cab wrap stripped, and with 302,015 km on the clock, EVS are asking £36,500 for the truck
Meanwhile, TeleTubby, the Stobart Volvo FH12 rigid mobile screen, has had the LED screen body removed off it and it has been placed on the rigid body of former Stobart drag M426 (Ruby May: PX06 CNE: Scania R420 Topline).
The transformation took place at the companies Carlisle workshop’s and made it’s first job at Carlisle’s Brunton Park at the weekend when Carlisle United played at home.
The old TeleTubby is currently at the workshops having it’s livery taken off and it will be eventually sold on.
The main Stobart news of the week however is that the company has had one of it’s 8 new Volvo FH’s named after April Jones, the five year old girl who went missing from Machynlleth, and who was sadly murdered by Mark Bridger.
The idea came from Kevin and Jenny Clarke, from Ford near Shrewsbury, have got to know April’s parents Coral and Paul Jones and joined them in the unveiling on Wednesday.
They contacted Stobart’s and they got a instant response from the companies truck naming department at Carlisle
“It’s something we can do that keeps April in the public eye,” said Mrs Clarke. She also added: “It won’t necessarily ease the pain but it helps keep her memory alive.”
The truck, called April, features a pink ribbon, which was a symbol used by April’s family following her disappearance.
The truck is going to be driven by Eddie Stobart ~ Trucks & Trailer’s star, Ashley Maddock’s (aka: The Welsh Wizard)
The truck will be based out of the companies Newport depot and will remain on the fleet for 3 years
Stobart Group chief operating officer William Stobart said: “With the vehicle travelling across the UK each week, and our dedicated 20,000 club members looking out for it, naming the truck in April’s memory will help highlight awareness of the April Fund and recognise the Jones family.”
