Bit of a rarity seeing one in the old knauf livery. Was this the one from Ridham? I worked out of knauf and had a blue artic P433 or may have been P443(H433/H443 fleet number) and ran out of Ridham in the early to mid 90s. I have no photos but would be interested if anyone does have some from that time
Hello m1tch
Thankyou for your interesting post marra. No, the photo of P748 FAO that truckfing posted was based out of Carlisle and worked hauling Knuaf plasterboard out of the North East factory.
I might be able to help you with the photos of the two lorries who’s fleet numbers you’ve posted. I’ll have a ratch amongst my photos and if I have, I’ll post them for you

I did wonder CG as I was sure the rigid we had was a 6 wheeler. I would be interested if you have a photo or two they were a good bunch of lads in ridham

I have a photo of a 6 wheeler rigid Scania, in the same livery as the one above, with licence plate F326 JNU. I think the fleet number was 444. Could this be the one?

Hello everyone
Thankyou to m1tch and Verhulst for there posts. Many thanks marras
Verhulst, after looking at the supplied photo on the website, it isn’t the same lorry. But Stobarts ran that 6 wheeler from Knaufs Ridham plant. I hope this helps marra.
m1tch, I was looking at my photos yesterday and I’ve found 5 Knauf photos which I will post tonight for you.
Kindest regards

Hi CG,
The ones we had in Ridham were 4 wheeler units on ‘P’ plates no ‘PX’ as these are plus they are 6 wheelers so might be later ones or from another depot.
I’ve never found a photo from the time I was there, but someone may come up with one as we had a lot of nights out in crick so there will be some floating about, somewhere!

No bother m1tch, I’m sorry that they aren’t any from your neck of the woods.
If I where you, have a look on www.wagonpics.com , the excelent website run by Trucknets Truckfing (David A Smith). There is some Knaufs on there including another photo of a 4 wheeler run by Stobarts.

Here’s an Interesting one for you CG, will see how your spotting skills are. Last night on the M-Way I was passed by a Stobarts Scania and reefer, unfortuantely too dark to get a pic, the truck was PN11 ABO “Monica Trinity”, nothing over special but it was the trailer that caught my eye, the number was FST5371. Rather unique wrap on it.
