Unless I’m blind, no ones started a topic on this yet so here goes,
Muhammad Ali, so sad to see him go.
Now I don’t know enough about his life story to write a paragraph on here, but absolutely loved watching his fights, ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ the best one for me, and the documentary ‘When we were Kings’ which is about the build up to the fight.
Loved the fact that Henry Cooper put him on his arse but Ali’s trainer saved him with the gloves incident and smelling salts.
Anyway the man proved himself to be a humble giant when asked about the fight he said “he (cooper) hit me so fast, even God didn’t get the news!”
Anyone got anything to add feel free, opinions, best fights etc
