Since I’ve discovered who those Bulmer’s bulk wagons are, I’m sure they are stalking me. Over the last week I’ve seen one in Milnthorpe, last night there was one parked at Libby’s and another at Canal Garage, and finally I followed one into Carnforth which turned into Border Aggregates. Any idea what they are up too as it seems a long way from Penrith when there’s plenty of local companies around?

BULMANS . not bulmers av been on the go for a lot of years and do bulk tipper work all over the country an quite a few subbies

Was a 57 reg, no writing but matched the rest of the spec (6x2 DAF XF, Striped bumper), could be an ex Lorry I suppose. Saw one the other day carrying bricks too.

Hello Dew
I too saw an ex Bulmans pulling a brick trailer the other day. It was in Thomas Armstrongs yard at Flimby.
I think it could be owned by a TA subbie
Kindest regards

Ironcially, the brick trailer was orange and thought it looked like an Armstrong’s.

A question for “Hodge”,IIRC Victors garage was at Embleton in the 70’s,in the old JW Graham depot after they moved over the road, when did Victor leave Embleton?.And when did Victor change his fleet colour from Green to Blue? Cheers Dennis.

Couple of ■■■■■■■■■ from today that are not usually seen with tippers.

Now I wonder if the A.D.Boyes was fitted with tipper hydraulics? Cheers Bewick.

Hello truckfing
Thankyou for both those excelent photos especially the A D Boyes DAF CF. Boyes do a lot of work for Moss Bay Metals, but mainly on flatbeds and I didn’t know that they haul the Moss Bay Metals tipper trailers aswell. Well, you learn something new everyday!
Thankyou again trucking
