Are you taking the ■■■■ or what CG? I’ve about as much interest in poxy tippers as the Man in the Moon eh! My old pal Mal Woodhouse snr. RIP,was a tipper operator and he had a similar opinion of flat platform transport as I had of tippers!!! Cheers Bewick.
Hello,
Sorry Bewick, I didn’t know you don’t like tippers.
Did your company ever operate any other tippers apart from the one you posted info on?

Dennis doesn’t like the shovelling involved with tippers
.
Cheers Dave.
Never mind CG, Dennis isn’t much of a tipper man but I have been involved in tippers all my life and I have thousands of pictures but finding anything specific is a problem. Modern stuff is easy because it is on the computer but more than 6 years old is on slide or print.
Hello truckfing,
Thanks for posting the photos. Could you post some more of your modern photos?

Hello Eddie Stobart Fan,
Do you mean the DAF 2500 Tippers that they had when they where at Carlisle? Because if thats what you mean, I have some photos of them.
Will post them tomorrow.

Here thoo is Marra! I’ve dug out a shot of 3 of the 5 WCBP 112’s I bought standing in the depot prior to going into the paintshop eh! There’s a K. Fell 111 there as well which had just come out of service which I had sold to Lancaster Training Services for conversion into a 6 wheel rigid as it had a 5speed gearbox which was far simpler for the “L” drivers to use!!! Cheers Bewick P.S. don’t 'iver say I do nowt for you eh!
passed my class 1 in that 111 dennis

It worked hard for us during the time it was on the fleet,at one time it ran to Dunstable and back every night then did a couple of hundred miles on day shift! It never gave us a moments trouble, bomb proof that spec! Ideal for use as a training motor.Dennis.

Sorry thats the only one of Fearons i have, Heres some others from your neck of the woods though.
Well seeing as you flood the thread with frivileous questions CG! here’s one for you eh! Whereabouts is Tenndley Quarry and its history? That’ll keep you occupied Marra eh! probably you live next door and hadn’t realised it!! Bewick.
I missed that FM12 about 18 months ago by a few mins on an auction site. Rang the owner and he filled me in about it. It was a minter. I think it ended up around Belfast according to the owner. It really is a nice colour scheme too- very different
Thanks for the great photos
Cheers
John
Here’s a few more modern ones, not worth one of the Fearon ERF though. Maybe in another ten years they will be worth looking at. My opinion has always been that pictures should be put in a drawer after they have been taken and not looked at again for 10 years. A question for CG (or anybody else who knows). I have a picture of a B reg MAN artic with the name Thrimby Raider on the front. It is mainly blue with some red and white but I can’t see a name. I think it is ■■■■■■■■
