Not got any pics yet as always pass it in the dark, but Chamber’s Garage at Tirril (near penrith) have a very smart DAF XF in pulling a new tipper trailer, often parked outside over night.Goes with a very impressive line up of Recovery trucks.

Not seen that one but this is a new one to me. Say’s Grange over Sands, ■■■■■■■ on the door. Mind you it say’s NIL SATIS NISI OPTIMUM above the door so maybe it comes from Rome.

dew, Yes, I know the DAF you mean but I haven’t got any photos of it. I think the reg is PX12 RUA.

BMA, my brother married a woman from Lohja which is why I went to Finland but the reception was at Herrankukkaro and the speeches were in English, Swedish and Finnish. My brother’s father in law speaks all three and kept things in order. Don’t pay any attention to Dennis, for somebody who has English as a third language I think you do very well on here. The Scania was parked just outside the fishing village.

I would agree with you there truckfing. I would definatley rather see one of Millicans ERF’s than Chambers DAF.
I was on Google Maps the other day and they have now got the Carlisle Bypass on.
Whilst traveling along the old Orton Road part of the bypass on google, I spotted this which I had to take a photo of for the thread.
I think hodgeturbo said on the ■■■■■■■ Companys page that he doesn’t have this artic anymore. Such a pitty as it was a smart beast.

They are so clean that you can’t tell when they have a new one because they re-use the registration numbers.

Thankyou for your posts marras. I agree with you there dew, Garners definatly have the best fleet of tippers on the roads.
Truckfing, your right there. With them been local to me, I try and keep up to tabs on when they buy a new lorry and make a note of when it enters service.
I have also created a list with the years on:
Y11 MNG Volvo FH13 (11)
Y111 MNG DAF XF (07)
X111 MNG Scania R Topline (11)
X11 MNG Scania R Topline (08)
On average, they seem to keep the lorries for 6 years.
