AND DONT SAY BY THE ON SWITCH…LOL
i would like to use my laptop in my cab… but i dont know the best way as im new to trucking, and my garage is a bunch of [zb]
its a EI system
13amp fuse on battery plug
input 100-240v 1.5a
output 20v 4.5a
what do u suggest the best options are■■?

Language edit. If it needs altering to get it past the auto censor that is the clue it isn’t allowed. You may want to reread the rules you agreed to when you joined.

You have two options.
1: Use the existing PSU and buy an inverter - for just running the laptop anything from about 150W upwards will work.
2: Get a 12/24V replacement for the charger. People seem to recommend this lot (click) in other threads in this forum.

Got mine from here runs on both 12v & 24v
If your model is not listed email them & they will supply you a correct order code
Mine was about £49 & is eaiier than carrying an inverter about.
