any one know? looking at getting a tv and microwave for the cab. can you run a playstation from a inverter?
In my volvo fh, i have a truckchef microwave 24v. I’ve had it for a few years now, but looking to upgrade tbh, I think its on its last legs. Sorry, cant help you with TV’s, as all i do is bring my Ipad with me with downloaded movies and tv shows from the weekend.

A 300W inverter will power a 14 inch flat screen tv no problem.
If you want to power a microwave, toaster, travel kettle i would get a 2000W inverter.
I have run my xbox and tv of a 300watt inverter…So you should be ok…Get one with a fan though…As they do get warm…
I have a 2200w inverter runs my 800w microwave (engine running) no problem, for tv I bought a 19" Samsung freeview with USB port and watch movies via USB rather than have dvds everywhere 
As has been said already a 300w inverter will do your PlayStation and telly, try to get a newer slim or superslim ps3 as they use less juice and the most important bit make sure it’s a pure sine wave inverter.
Microwave needs a much bigger inverter connected direct to the battery with fat cables
