so you give it a very slight amount of gas and it rockets off hitting the pin at 1000 MPH
no limiter on reverse gear then . yep got to go with i shift everytime. sending back the scanias and going for all volvo fleet (nuch happiness on my part).
never drove daf or iveco on auto boxes so cant comment
I shift good Its odd little faults like changing up on roundabouts too soon when running heavy is easily overcome but overall excelent gearbox. Have just had fleet change to strallis auto also very good cant make my mind up which is best yet whichever its easy life long live autos
Would question paul@midway (quote; always has the right gear probably has on flat roads but at 44t up & down hills you sometimes have to hold it in lower gears)

I would assume that depends on the power of the unit . We have 460 and soon to be delivered 480 units and for a hill its a case of press the p button and press the kickdown and its off no messing about …
We have some i shift 420 on hire and on a hill i tend to flip it back into manual and do the gear change .
Only had 420s & them above had kickdown & power button dissabled supposedly to save fuel silly b```s Apparantley they didnt realise you could pull it back to manual (thats what go`s with having brains)
