Yup yet again this year the TruckNet UK Xmas party will be held in Cannock
on Jan 28th

The venue will be at Longford House again.

This venue has a Travel Inn attached (Which has vacancies for that night) and another hotel just across the road in case the travel inn gets full.
WE STRONGLY SUGGEST BOOKING YOUR ROOMS AT THE TRAVELL INN ASAP AS THEY GET FULL VERY QUICKLY

The party will kick off about 6 pm until closing and ALL are welcome.

If you are planning to attend please post below so e have an idea of numbers…

Doubt whether we will make it, we do have another free Speedferries ticket to use before March 1st but think that January is a bit too soon :cry: and Travel Inns/Lodges/Motels are a bit pricey for OAPs :unamused: :laughing:

Sorry, I can’t make it as it is Hearts v Hibs that day and nothing, not even work, gets in the way of derby day.

last year I was still on the boat from Cherbourg and I had one hell of an argument trying to get my money back from the Hotel :stuck_out_tongue:

I will see where I am a bit nearer the date before booking a room.

I had a good night out on Friday with all the lads who use North Sea Ferries from Hull, mostly Bowker, Neill and Brown and Mat drivers and wives at the Sportsman on Hedon road.

Some of them I had not seen for over 25 years :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s my birthday that weekend ! The 29th. :wink: Our lass muttered something about the saturday but I don’t think anything is set in stone yet, so hopefully for the first time I’ll get there and meet you all … Hopefully …

I’ll post again to confirm but at the moment it’s 50/50.

We are still checking on dates but considering I invested weeks of concentrated blackmail to try to get repton to go last year and he still stood me up :smiling_imp: this year he is threatening to book the room when he doesn’t have the dates of an important competition for the landrover that is some time at the end of the month but fingers crossed we will be there.
