New series started last night called the 70s on bbc2. Be right up your street but you might think its current affairs not a historical documentary.
the UK would be a much better place if we were locked in the 70s.
the 70s is too new for curryfart lol
He’ll probably salute the leyland picket line, then smash the tv when Maggie gives her winning speech
In all seriousness it covered lots of stuff he has spoke about not double drive two stroke Bedfords But I could imagine him enjoying this program but veering between singing the red flag while saluting a young scargill and burying a pick axe in the screen at joining the common market.
Many of us on here remember the 70’s, good old wagons that would 80 +mph with you hanging on for grim death and hoping you could stop the thing at some point, and the long hot summer of '76, now that was a drought.

It would have been if we’d have stayed out of the EEC and kept all the North Sea Oil for ourselves and stopped all the immigration. But no surprise that the BBC preferred zb Bolan and Bowie to this.

Christ, you really are completely insane.
Now i like a bit of Bowie, and i like a bit of Bolan. Theres only one way to find out!!!1
Slade… pantomime rock stars!
To be serious I’m not really a fan of Bowie either, my tastes go back a bit further, mid to late sixties.

Blimey del they weren’t exactly hopeless given a guitar or two and a set of drums etc.
But 1960’s v 1970’s it was probably a draw .
But the Eurovision song contest no chance.

I had the screen blow at about 07.30. Knocked it all out and carried on. Phoned the boss around 4.30pm to tell him about screen gone and can I have a new one as I was on night out.
