The 5am-7am drivers

Anyone noticed that the car/van drivers on the road at this time always take the most dangerous and stupid risks :open_mouth:
I have never met a bunch of drivers that are so keen to get to work

Can I narrow that down to minicabs and van drivers please?

If I’m on route it’s a 4am start and get overtaken going through villages.

Midlands gupta taxi’s on a Friday/Saturday night are like the film, ‘Hell drivers’. And that’s even with passengers in!

How do you know they’re not trying to get home from work?

Before I clock off, it’s in my interest to go as slowly as possible. As soon as I’ve clocked off and I’m not getting paid anymore, it’s in my interest to go as quickly as possible.

Not got to bed earlier enough so too tired for the 6am shift - 5am to 6am drivers
Not sleeping well in the day and too tired coming off night shift - 6am to 7am drivers

possibilities â– â– ?

I don’t find the morning too bad, it’s the evening that I find is bad, absolute morons, will kill themselves to save 5 seconds.

I know the towns around my area and know that there are places that are 24hours shift work and the vehicles are always travelling towards them from towns that have no 24 hour businesses. Every set of headlights that appears in my mirror always overtakes me no matter what during that time, 7-9am its about 50% that overtake after 9am about 5% overtake.

It’s because they have got up for work late…

Christ you moan more than muckaway, firstly caravans spoil your life, unless of course you can drive so fast and close to them that they wobble and fall over. Now if someone has their toe down and passes you, you get a pet lip and start bubbling.

Ha! Nice 1…

I regularly start at 3-30am and what bothers me more is the car/van drivers who DONT overtake. I regularly get them following behind me at 40mph S/c or 50mph d/c and even when they can overtake easily they just sit right behind me, and Im thinking is this fella up to something? Or maybe he`s just half asleep. Anyways, it creeps me out why someone would want to sit behind a lorry doing 40 that time of day and make no effort to get past.

Still, each to his own eh?

I often think it’s the cops when they never pass

I just seem to find that dangerous and stupid drivers are on the roads 24/7

What so a driver sitting behind you minding his own business is distressing you?
Jeez, you need some serious therapy.
