my first truck was a fl7 volvo and yes i did tramp in it every thing on the bunk in the day and on the seats and dash every night happy days drove that old girl for my first year

bedford tk on private roads then Ford D series was a cut down platform and made into unit belonged to the driving school i took my test with then after passing on to a Scania 80 good motor but had a low diff in it the result was 52mph flat out,pre limiter days got passed by everything !

1st truck I drove was my dad’s brand new P reg Leyland Daf 95 400, although it was only moving it about the yard as I was only 16 at the time. Those were the days.
1st official truck I drove after passing my test was a P reg 18t MAN with the F2000 cab.
1st artic was an R reg ERF EC11.
First 7.5 tonner was an Iveco Cargo
First rigid after test was a Leyland Daf 60 4 wheeler
First artic was an ERF EC11 4 wheeler with a bulker
first truck, i was about 11 years old, and it was a Renault TF231 (same cab as Volvo F7
first truck after passing my test was a Mercedes 1820 rigid
Believe it or not it was a 1971 Albion Clydesdale.
