who says night shift is boring ■■, there i was, minding my own business, trundling northbound at dishforth at 3.20am, next thing all the matrix signs start lighting up, 50, 40, 20, oncoming vehicle , they were right, there was an oncoming car in lane 3 hurtling towards us, with a couple of patrol cars on the proper side trying to catch up to it… well at least the idiot missed me.
Sounds good fun, coppers were on the wrong side of the motorway surely what were they going to do when they caught up jump the barrier ?
i saw a police chase on the M1 during the day this week. at first i though the car being chased was moving out of the way for the police cars but suddenly he belt down the slip road and the police followed and the car came back onto the motorway back up the slip road, next thing traffic slowed as some other police had blocked the motorway blocking the car in the traffic.

i have seen similar 4 times in last 12 month on diff m’ways but think it was just police practice
cos as soon as they had boxed car in and brought it to a standstill all cars then departed with no one exiting any vehicles, rolling block lifted and gone

Seen this once before. Only when they had gone by did I realize something had just happened that should’nt have. 
had this happen to me but no coppers just a set of headlights hurtling towards me around midnight on the a31 dual carriageway,

Either way ,there was a barrier seperating the o/b and the ■■■■ they were chasing.
