any one bought the personal hospital plan off him as he has plenty of truck and driver details in his folder
Brian Scammell if I remember right, hes been there for years, and what I found really frightening was that when I last saw him it must have been at least 2 years after I had previously been there and he remembered my name and who I was driving for before. No I aint bought of him cause i`ve already got the cover.
I have heard loads of people mention him, not a bad word said about him, but never bought it myself cos I am from Yorkshire
YES THATS HIM i purchased a years cover as i do not get sick pay and im gettin on a bit now and the last time i went in hospital i was in for over a week so 30p a day with a return of 350 per week if admitted seems a safe bet i think wil have too see 
yep bought a plan off him 60 quid every 6 months ,ended up in hospitial for 10 weeks 70 quid per day 490 a week ,with no doctors notes or nothing ,unlike my so called payment protection plans for loans ect which wanted a doctors note or proof that i was still in hospitial every week, which in the state i was in was practially impossible.
there’s been threads on here about him before and nobody has a bad word to say about him. 
I’ve got mine with budget. £4 a month gives me £50 a day if I’m in hospital.
I got a policy from him years ago, never had to use it yet but you never know.

I’ve got a plan from him as well got it donkeys years ago, nice to hear it actually pays out when you need it. 
I don’t know if it’s still the same but there used to be people on almost all the services trying to get into the truck to sell you something, but most you’d see one week and then they’d be gone and they also didn’t like it if you didn’t want to listen to thier sales speal, But this bloke seems different, much more genuine.
And like others have said never heard a bad word about him and if you have got a problem you know were to find him.

I remember meeting him about 15/20 years ago, he came up to the truck and got chatting, he knew at least 1/2 dozen blokes from the company I was working for who had his cover, not just their names which he could have looked up seeing the livery on my truck, but seemed to know them personally to a degree. He is a very clever man, I think he must take notes about everyone he sells to and jots them down in his Filofax. I didn’t buy from him, but a year later he still remembered me when I pulled up again. He was north bound in those days though.
There also used to be a couple of ■■■■ looking girls doing he same, but the product they were selling wasn’t up to par with his, I spent many 45 minute breaks with them in my cab giving me their sales pitch…They always got the hump when I didn’t buy!!!
He would never have fallen for that as I’m sure any time wasters would have been in his memory and he just wouldn’t bother going to them more than the one time
