I have never heard of anyone having their clip and chain nicked in the entire length of my career, cant see the motive, and if you say the way it was fitted would have given a thief no chance, then he was a good thief :laughing:

As for the legality/myth with/without a dog clip…does that also go for the legs being wind right up, and reverse in low gear half a turn… :laughing:

well it happened unless the clip came alive and opened itself up pulled itself out and went for a walk ,ive had same trailer for a fortnight checked night and day ,always check pin even if ivce been too shops and back as there are so many jokers around these days ,almost paranoid on that matter EVEN MORE NOW :confused: :unamused:
