Hi all, just wanted to pass on my thanks for this forum, I have just left the military and did an intensive resettlement course covering Class c, C+E, ADR, Forks, HIAB and CPC. I have found this forum invaluable for getting hints and tips during the training. Now only 4 weeks after passing my C+E, I have been fortunate and started my first job with an agency driving C+E for a supermarket. They have been great and understanding with my inexperience, First day went well, although a very steep learning curve with a tough reverse which i managed with a couple of shunts, however, today I struggled alot with a tight reverse in a supermarket and finally had to admit defeat due to drivers hours and got my partner to do the reverse. But I will persevere as other than that I am loving it. So thanks again for all the contributers who have put hints and tips for newbies on here.

I’d second that, this forum is a valuable resource for budding truckers especially.
Currently just finished day 2 as an agency driver for Aldi’s, they have been great and understanding, teaming me up with someone to show me the ropes and feel I’m getting a good induction package, they fully understand that I have had absolutely no experience in the haulage industry and that I only passed my test 4 weeks ago.
