So I fill up with petrol on my way into Kings Lynn and then pull up at traffic lights on the Hardwick roundabout and think to myself theres a strong smell of petrol and then the lorry behind me purps his horn so I look round and he
s pointing at the back of the bike and his passenger says "petrol leak watch out" so I pull onto the footpath get off the bike and see petrol pouring down the right side of the bike First thought was a burst fuel pipe and then the penny drops, I didn
t secure the filler cap properly only problem with an underseat fuel tank I suppose.
Although he will probably never read this I own the lorry driver a thankyou the consequences of tipping it into a roundabout with the right side of the tyre covered with petrol don`t bear thinking about
