Just wanted to say a big thank you to the helpful people who contributed to this forum. Right from the start I was able to find all the info I needed and save money throughout by following the advice and sorting everything out direct with the relevant people. My cab partner did not and he went via an agent and paid over £3k to just do the Cat C (not even including medical or cpc), I on the other hand with Medical, Theory, CPC and Cat C training and test fees came to less than £1500 inc vat.
Had a bit of an issue with the truck the day before the test which resulted in a new truck being drafted in for the test but to be honest, that worked in my favour as it was an auto and I had been learning in a manual. All in all, about 12 minors but a 1st time pass none the less. Already booked the C+E now!
