Cannot recall seeing an eight wheeler with a beaver tail body before. This Hino is operated by Thipakorn, who are the company employed by The State Railway of Thailand, to refurbish it’s line between Nong Pladuk Junction and Nam Tok. The branch was built by the Japanese Army during the second World War, with PoW labour, completed in 1943, and was the subject of the film ‘‘Bridge on the River Kwai.’’ The vehicle is seen here, adjacent to the contractor’s compound at Wang Yen, in Kanchanaburi Province.

Add a bit of colour to your life…
Seen in a fuel station near Ubon. Actually quite a common paint scheme here in Thailand.
Another Thai ‘low loader’. Picture taken on Hwy 323, Tha Muang, near Kanchanaburi.

0A well loaded pick-up at Three Pagodas Pass, a Myanmar border crossing.
Reminds me of the way they used to load hopsacks in Kent in the old days, with the load getting longer with each layer.Somewhere I have a great photo of a pre-war Bedford WT loaded to about 14 foot high, but well within its weight limits.
