Easily. Not officially of course and not a great idea in busy airspace. Definitely not a good idea on take off or approach and landing though. When correctly trimmed, planes fly themselves. You are merely there to monitor and make small adjustments as and when required. The hard bit is the navigation and landing - the rest is fairly simple.
