What a ■■■■ feeling today.
got a good night’s sleep, felt really confident and prepared for my c+e test today.
I got to my training base did my checks and uncoupled/coupled etc, everything went perfectly then half hour before my test it got cancelled due to some bell end causing an accident and clogging up the test routes.
Although I hope everyone is okay I’m still mega frustrated. I was in the swing of it and I don’t want to lose momentum now I have to sit around waiting for another test. Gutted.
Sorry but I have to moan.
Reminds me of days back in London when now and again some ‘bell end’ would jump in front of a tube train and force the whole network to implode.
On hearing the announcement, the first thing everyone waiting on the platform did was mumble to themselves ‘Selfish barsteward. Now I’m gonna be late/have to go another route!’
But I totally understand what you mean… I’d be gutted too, especially with current waiting times.
Assume when it happens, it’s tough boobies and you’re at the whim of when you can be fit back into the well-established test queue?

just look at it that whoever was involved in the accident was having a worse day than you
