english trucker with all due respect i saw rear end of the tank mate and its wrecked!!,and as for all people slaging off tanker drivers you all seem to know where to get you fuel to go shopping and take the family for a day dont ya…
i am just glad nobody was hurt in the rta .
at the end of the day it was just an accident could of happened to any of us!!!
so get off all the high horses please!!!

Bloody hell…I can see why he may have refused to hand over his extinguisher, incase he had an incident ect but it’s a bit bloody harsh…

The Tesco’s tanker hit the other artic up the arse. The tanker was smashed up in the front, but there was no damage to the rear of the tank, and no truck up it’s arse either.

Hang on, under those circumstances wouldnt anybody here just take the fire extinguisher wether the tesco driver wanted to give it up or not? I think I would!

Also, surely they carry more than one? I would guess 2 in the cab, one on the unit, and probably one on the trailer?

I remember when this happened and I have spoken to the Tesco Tanker driver in question, and it’s amazing how a story can be changed, perhaps to make it more shocking to sell more papers…but again I must stress I can only take the word of the driver as I was not at the RTA
