tesco tachos

what make at magor thanks…

Digital ones. Shouldn’t matter which they are as you should know how to use them all given its a mandatory requirement to use one in all but limited circumstances so therefore comes under “things you should know”.

Ask one of the driver trainers if you’re not sure, you need to know it back to front they won’t tolerate silly infringements.

They majority have Siemens version 1.4

Siemens,I work there regularly.

It is now four years since I last regularly drove a vehicle with a digital tacho even then 90% of the time it was a Siemens, with the other 10% being Stoneridge. Ther has been the odd occasion since however every time it has been a 1st generation model. Since then there has been a new generation of tacho’s take over, currently I don’t see the need to be au fait with these because by the time I come to use them, having had no practical use of them, I shall have forgotten anything I have learnt about them in the meantime. I therefore don’t see this as essential knowledge at present.

Since digi cards came in I have only ever used a Stonebridge for one day. Don’t worry about not be au fait with stuff. Just ask to be shown. There are know alls on this site but it’s just best to ignore them.

Stoneridge in my old puddle jumper was the best tacho I have ever used. No fiddling, squinting and writing crap down.

Are they anything like Lidl cheesey nachos?
