I’ve got a run to deliver to the rdc there and parking overnight before booking time. I’ve been once before but it was a mid-trip drop. Is there any easy parking nearby, I’m not worried about parking in laybys or owt, whatever’s free is best for me as parking’s not covered by the firm, or is but “that’s what night out moneys for”…
Heart of scotland services are free…M8 between junction 4 &5.
Tesco Rdc is 10min further down.

I don’t know how safe they are etc but that’s where I see a lot of tramping guys park.

As merc says i have parked there a few times with no hassel or you have the services at harthill.If the first parking area is full there is another one round abit drive by the Hgv pumps and its on the right and its free.

Royston Rd, 2 minutes from the RDC, it’s a long dead end road with minimal traffic.

What so they expect you to use your night out allowance to pay for secure parking if you have a high value load on and you don’t get it back? If that’s the case I’d be parking on industrial estates and lay bys with the back doors open and ■■■■ em if ouwt went missing
