Just been past my local tesco petrol station A49 Warrington and seen an Eddie stobart fuel tanker delivering the fuel, I thought that TDG had the contract or is Eddie now taking it over and I wonder if that is why the tanker drivers wanted to protect there T&Cs because they could envisage that Eddie would sooner or later try to break into the fuel delivery market. ■■?
TDG/ND were delivering fuel to my local tesco at the weekend, but have also seen stobarts delivering fuel there also, can’t say why they are both doin it as I ain’t got a clue
I’d rather see a British firm doing it than any other(no offence to all you Nobby/TDG @ DHhelL veterans)…
Pimpdaddy:
I’d rather see a British firm doing it than any other…
Well that rules Hoyer and TDG out then.
Norbert Dillydangle have the Tesco Liveried Tankers, as some still have TDG on the Hazchem signs. Maybe it was just a shortfall, as isn’t there only about 3 Stobart tankers currently?
theres 5 stobby tankers, see em alot in tesco shrewsbury
There’s 3 or 4 Stobart tankers run out of the container yard at Widnes… Seen both Tesco liveried TDG and Stobart tankers delivering to the Tesco at Widnes?
Quite appropriate really, given that tanker drivers were amongst the last to give up collar and tie!
Mind you, they could also afford to pay a valet to dress them.
