Terror in Brussels

Karl:
Ah yes Saddam, one time friend and aly, who had nothing to do with 9/11. I wonder where he hid all those weapons of mass destruction in the end?

Values? What values or morals have the English/British ever had? It’s a bit rich for us westerners to look down upon them and treat a whole religion as some sort of ‘evil’.

For some reason you love war as a people it seems. Maybe it gives you’re weapon’s companies some business?
It’s just as well really, as you’re going to be fighting for a very, very long time with this current way of thinking. And you won’t ‘win’.

As I said, you won’t learn.

John Pilger on ISIS

Have a little read.

:bulb:

Yeah right appeasement of regimes like ■■■■ Germany, let alone IS’s agenda, and disarmament and neutrality from the 1930’s to date that would have worked well. :unamused:

While you might not have noticed but the problem is actually one of our government actually appeasing similarly nutter zb regimes like revolutionary Iran and the similar Saudi Wahabbi version of murder and mayhem where IS gets its support and ideas from.

While yes you’re right going for Saddam wasn’t the brightest move. But on balance being the only choice being that he was just a Russian puppet hell bent on causing as much disruption to western interests in the region as possible. As for the connection between Islam and evil on balance it doesn’t seem to have much of a case for itself historically and to date in that regard.Ironically Assad’s Syria and pre Islamic revolutionary Iran being about as good as it gets but obviously and predictably no major support for either among the Islamic world.

While it’s anyone’s guess where the western governments actually stand although it seems like it’s the Chinese Commies who are pulling their strings at present. :unamused:
