Totally agree micky,some of these ■■■■■■■■ on here that are loving the fact someone is injured or killed in these road incidents.i couldnt care less if the person is a copper or a lorry driver,the fact is i wouldnt wish ANYONE to be hurt or die.simples.
Well my comments on the police are - “Hampshire Constabulary wheres my hot chocolate you were going to get me?”, still waiting a few years later lol
But I think the police do a good job - would like to go to a job not knowing what youre going to be faced with, knifes, needles etc?

While we are on the subject of police, as of this morning, Scotland now has its own national police force. One single force called ‘Police Scotland’. The regional forces formerly known as Strathclyde Police, Lothian and Borders Police, Grampian Police Etc no longer exist. Just thought I’d share that piece of useless information with everyone.
They took my licence off me for a year for being a bit exuberant, dangerous driving they called it. What riled me is if I’d have just paid that nick freeman fella 10 grand I’d have got careless instead as the CPS would have just bricked it & not bothered. Cost me 40 grand. One rule for the rich/smart or criminally experienced and one rule for Everyman else.
There are some bent coppers that will fit you up & trick you, bait you in to taking a hit if it makes the figures look good but there are some good coppers out there who will toot you if you’re on the phone rather than book you.
not a massive fan of the police due to a few dealings with them in the past(not driving related),
however when i was caught up in a serious accident a couple of years ago the police were first on the scene,and bloody glad to see them i was too…

The police deserve more of what?
More of what’s coming to them, if its getting your patrol car wiped out by an hgv so that u don’t stop people for petty things, so be it. Getting attacked by a drugs cartel because you’re interfering in their business, so be it. @ the end of the day life is about choices, nobody forces anyone to be anything, it’s was our choice to become drivers wasn’t it? I have told the Police what to do before now, as they were so bloody incompetant…And no, I didn`t call them, somebody else did.
If I thought I was going to get any sort of restorative justice, I may well just consider calling the Police, but I know that I wouldnt. Because of the sad state of affairs in this current age, I have a very large dog, fire arms and crossbow, machette......I live in a very rural place, the Police would take too long to get to me anyways, but I wouldnt call them…Anyone who lives very rural will know that most things are taken care of at a local level.
I have the luxury of time and a brain that does not need to operate to the guidelines of a brainwashed bobby, so I can look after stuff for myself.
That said, I would not like to see anyone who has done me no harm crippled or dead.
The Police and the CPS are not bright enough collectively to do me any harm as yet.

this police thing is imo what is wrong with this country… i can understand some anger towards the police ect but what as been said earlier too far, to me its about respect, or at the moment lack of it which is why our town centers are being overun with drunk morons every night, why crime levels are at a high, the burglaries as mentioned if the punishment matched the crime then maybe?
A country without police would inevitability end in anarchy. Take a look at the london riots that was the police at full capacity and they couldn’t handle a tiny minority of yobs. It would be dog eat dog, survival of the fittest. The government would introduce marshal law and they wouldn’t arrest you pimpdaddy they would just crack your skull in.
Some polis let the job get to them and it turns them into utter ■■■■■, ive had a few run in’s with the law some ■■■■■, some decent folk. Its like everything you get good and bad in every walk of life.
