The Filthy Party’s Transport Secretary took aim at ALL Transport Workers this morning with the upcoming bill regarding unions, strikes and minimum service levels, specifically mentioning freight. So expect a new contract of employment shortly, because it is not just going to be just bus and train drivers who are affected.

You won’t get widespread strikes in freight anyway. Not enough are unionised and there’s enough £10 Bogdan tatty unit type one man bands around who will jump in with glee.

I do think striking is a tool to be used but I also believe that there are better options particularly with a drawn out dispute, things like working to rule and overtime bans have a better effect over time in my opinion.

As for the political party you mentioned. Absolute scum. Need removed immediately.

What did he/she say exactly?
I heard Truss slagging off ‘workshy workers’’ and saying the other week that ‘‘dealing with militant unions’’ was on her list, but I notice she has been a bit preoccupied with other things lately.

Part of a long standing campaign.

48 hr working week? Set for the chop: if you wont work over 48 you could be sacked. 4 weeks paid holidays? Not your right. End of national pay deals? Divide and conquer. You want to stick up yourself? Youre a Militant.
Does your protest, in the opinion of a police officer, risk upsetting someone? Nicked.

Very few people know that exists, those jobs where they want you to work longer hours they get you to sign an opt out when you sign your contract.

Not heard that getting binned anywhere.

Oh look, LYING MISLEADING videos from a union. Quelle surprise. He never said anything about scrapping the 48hr week, he said that EU regulations need to be looked at to see which work and which don’t. As he said in the interview it was she, the interviewer who said it would be scrapped, not him. In regards to the paid leave did you not notice just how much younger Rees-Mogg was in that video? That must be something that’s the thick end of 10 years old, most likely pre-referendum.

Comes as no surprise really that a union puts out such complete misleading rubbish, many in unions tend to be easily led smoothbrains who will believe any old crap they’re told. I bet you also believe the current levels of inflation, interest rates and energy prices are because of the “mini-budget” last month too and that the pound is the only currency that’s tanked against the dollar because that’s what the news has told you. Easily manipulated smoothbrains.

If 48 is off the table Rees-Mogg could have said so. He didn`t.

None of it is written in stone until it happens.
But it is all in character.
Have Truss/Kwarteng etc changed from the publication of “Britannia Unchained” 10 years ago?

Oh my!
I hope you feel better for spitting that out?
I`m sure it put a smile on my face.

I read all sorts but I do not know where all that has came from…ho and get them out and replace with who exactly, they are as bad as each other ,rich socialists they will give the same as other years …NOWT

Next week there will be legislation going through to abolish the airline compansation scheme and you will only be entitled to get what you paid for the ticket.

I had a flight canceled just as I was coming into the airport earlier this year, cost me a lot more then the £300 I am supposed to be entitled to.

I think that is for UK only flights

From the “Which?” link.
“The law was designed to deter airlines from cancelling and overbooking flights for commercial reasons, and encourage an on-time service. It also helps passengers cover out of pocket expenses caused by delays and cancellations.”
Also
Flights in/out of EU countries often being subject to rules there, and possibly depending on which carrier you choose. Choose UK carrier may be refund only, EU carrier may be more.
Flights to USA on USA carrier may give zilch in compensation! Just money back or re-book.
