Am going to Tenby tomorrow (from the East) running at 15’-ish and have just realised there’s a 13’9" bridge on the A478.
It looks like the only way in is to take the B4318 from Sageston? Is that right - and is that route ok for an artic at 15’ high?
Thanks.
Tenby i would spend 10 mins on google maps, theres a few low bridges that run into there, 1 Bridge was on the coast road from where we used to fire Missiles to the local Army Camp, that bridge was a night mare on a S bend N we had to take centre road in a Bedford 4 tonner only just clearing it, sorry carnt help any more
Yes, you can’t go down the A478 but you can go past that to Pembroke and turn back on the A4139, I’ve doe it myself in an artic and while it’s not the best road in the world, it’s easily passable.
Thanks to both of you - I have streetviewed along the B4318 and it does look OK.
Harry, the Pembroke road (A4139) has a 12’6" bridge, so I’m not going to be trying that…
Ok mate the camp i was on about was penally.■■ spelling maybe wrong but that bridge was a nightmare. glad you sorted it , Have a Gud run Buddy
Where exactly are you heading ? I’m live down this way so may be able to help

Sorry, getting my numbers confused. I seem to remember that there is an advisory route signposted.
You can park overnight if you need to, car park opposite Jewsons.
Thanks for the suggestions guys - turns out the B road was fine - easier than the proper road really, because there’s no traffic on it and our yard was right where it comes out at the bottom of town.
