Technical - Air horn fitting. (DAF)

Right, I drive an 18t DAF LF beaver tail (plant hire)

The horn is like something from a kids toy, embarrassing.

How do I go about installing an air horn under the bonnet?
(Must be discreet and so that I can remove it when my motor is de-fleeted)

Obviously I can get the 24v power supply from the old horn unit. I just want to know where I can get air from and what I need to tap into it.

Also if you have any recommendation as to which horn kit to buy? I’ve seen some all ride ones on eBay for about £15 (doesn’t have to be shiny and nice - just really [zb] loud)

got a set of these on the car, had them on 2/3yrs, not an issue. dead easy to fit, just need a bit of know how to wire it all up, it’s bloody loud, and a hell of a lot better than the horn that was on the car!

as for beefing them up for 24v use, you might not need to, as the original horn feed will power the relay, as the air pump take’s some amp’s, and take’s it power from the battery through an inline fuse.
