weve got one where i work, i hate em, whats the use of a 15ft high trailer (in the middle) when the 14ft4inch trailers we had were too high for anything we ever put in the back. its just making the job harder (e.g you cant go down/up the A5 at Hinckley, cos of the bridge)

I found similar prob when I was on M+S on agency a couple of years ago… Had to take a couple of detours - 1 to the fuel station put 10 miles on the journey - due to the height of the body in the middle.
So, even if it does get an extra 0.3mpg (claimed), but puts 10 mile on a 50 mile journey…
The removal company GB Liners have just received a 5 container removal truck with teardrop bodywork and it looks weird. You can’t see where the back of the truck is as it tapers in about 10 feet from the rear end. I think they are planning on putting some extending marker lights onto it so the driver has a visual on the back end but I would imagine they will have some rear swing accidents if not very careful.
It will be very interesting to see how much fuel it saves over a conventional removal truck!
