Yes, it just looks wrong on a map or a sat nav. I suppose that is why we won the war, by keeping our ordnance well hidden :stuck_out_tongue:

Went there on my first ever day in an artic, my first reverse too and guess what, it’s a blindside! Doh. They seemed a decent bunch though. Sorry I can’t help with the route, I’ll warn you the turning onto the last B roads easily missed, it’s near the top of a hill on a shallow bend iirc. I missed it and ended up spinning round in a village, near a pub.

Follow the blue line drive! Lol, might’ve been green or any other colour for that matter but you’ll see what I mean.

I went there way back in the 60s when the country was being converted from coal gas to natural gas. This was a huge operation which meant that a gas fitter had to come and change the jets on every gas appliance in the land.

They took over the whole of the old military depot at West Hallam to use as a distribution centre for all the millions of parts they needed to do the job. Thos lanes weren’t fit for much more than horses and carts then - easy to spot the turnings though - all you had to do was follow the mulched up grass verges.

I went there a couple of years ago, went down the A52 to junction with A6005,turned left and left at junc A6090,followed 6090 to Cat and Fiddle Lane, lots of room in the yard when I went.

:open_mouth: Thats a blast from the past for me.
Used to go there three times a week collecting suit cases for Argos when I was on for Wincanton.
As you go up Cat & Fiddle lane as soon as you come to the 7.5T weight limit sign the entrance for TDG is on the right.
Always used to be good for a kip, havent been there for a couple of years now though.
