TC bans driver for 20+yrs

Ooof. I’d heard Joan Aitken was a woman to be feared… she doesn’t ■■■■ around, does she?

Remind me to keep my nose clean :open_mouth:

She added that she was “especially wary” that his desire to have his professional licence restored was motivated by money

:open_mouth: :open_mouth: :unamused: So what does she think motivates us drivers then? a dumbass thing to say

after reading that I think she has done us all a favour.

I bet she can’t wait to get the bin lorry driver in front of her

I agree she has done everyone else on the roads a favour

+1, from the sounds of it, the guy probably deserved it… just didn’t realise her teeth were quite that sharp ! :open_mouth:

In the context of “…he puts money before road safety…” it makes sense. Tipper drivers regularly get criticized on here for chasing that extra load and bonus!
Fair enough, we all make mistakes and bad decisions, but thats quite a list he’s drawn up. And that’s after he’s already been in bother for driving offences.
I for one won’t shed any tears for him.
(Bloody hell, this moral ground’s so high I can see the pub!)

Well she doesn’t ■■■■ about does she  come on somebody must have footage eh this. I don’t think she would be handing out 25 year bans without hard evidence.

They seem to be offences commited on a regular basis on the A75 by a lot of drivers, including the tailgating and dodgy overtaking manouvers, whats all the fuss about.
Offences which probably wouldn’t be commited, if the speed limit wasnt so low on that road.

He got what he deserves just like saying there’s a lot of people drink driving. Does this just go to show that the limit is too low :open_mouth:

Well ,she floats my boat.

Next time I’m up there I’m certainly going to ask for him to deliver my pizza! You can be sure it’d still be piping hot.

Richardson, who has also sought a bus driver’s licence in the past, told the inquiry he was a reformed character following time in prison in England and wanted to return to lorry driving since it paid more than his current employment as a car auction yard operator and fast food delivery driver.

Sorry but how can you blame it on the speed limit? The speed limit is there for a good reason. It’s all about drivers not driving properly.
High speed low speed these clowns will never learn.

She needs promoting to a judge
, she’s wasted as a TC

I think we can safely assume that traffic officers and the prosecution process can differentiate between someone driving like a pratt and someone deliberately driving dangerously. I for one won’t be sorry to see this clown never get behind the wheel of a HGV ever again. He was after all, the architect of his own downfall and showed no concern for others on the road.

I wonder if Mr Hugh Richardson drove for Iceland?

Does anyone remember the video of that particular mad ■■■■■■■■ I’m sure that was in Scotland.

Good riddance in my opinion.

Me too. What a moron.
Albion, you’re right. If the limit was 100mph there’s still be them that’d do 110.

He’ll probably just carry on the same in a 7.5 tonner doing multidrop.
