Taylors Transport

Bellydancer:
Haha! I noticed some were green and some blue, wondered if that meant anything. Pulled into one at Scotch Corner and saw a sign at the entrance saying no hgvs :frowning:

I don’t believe I read this from someone who has taken and passed at least 2 driving tests.

Familiar with the Highway Code?

Maybe the ones with blue signs were on Motorways (where they use blue signs, if you hadn’t noticed)

And maybe the ones with green signs were on A roads (where they don’t use blue signs, as they’re not Motorways)

Just a thought.

Also worth pointing out that these were the boy’s that broke the striking Tesco drivers at Doncaster!

Whys that worth pointing out? The drivers were only doing what they were told to do by the company that employs them.
The tesco drivers did what they thought was right for them and fair play to em as they could afford it at the time. Taylors drivers did what they were told to put bread on the table. If they didnt do it someone else would have.

I didn’t condemn or condone the fact , I just put the information on here so any potential Taylor employee’s would know what type of work the company expects you to undertake
Apologies for messing up the quotes

Taylors won’t make you cross a picket line…if you don’t want to

 I apologise for my ignorance but please remember this was my first week working and the days have kinda blurred. Wouldn’t it be sensible if the signs for services did make it clear from the motorway which were suitable for hgvs?

Ps. More like 4 tests (100% on CPC :stuck_out_tongue: ) but that means diddlysquat, there’s nothing on the tests to help with the practicalities of driving. I think experience counts for a hell of lot more than a piece of paper that says I memorised a load of facts. That’s why I’m asking you guys for help, so please don’t get snotty with me, we all have to start somewhere.
