Pat Hasler:
I work for Tate and Lyle … well sort of
I deliver sugar for Domino sugar who now own Tate and Lyle.
Slight mistake there Pat !
It was Tate & Lyle who owned Domino Sugars in the State’s and later sold it onto someone else, but yes you did (sort of) work for them for a spell.

sadly I must disagree with you mate. Domino sugar bought Tate & Lyle out late 2010. I know Domino was orriginally owned by Tate & Lyle then bacame independent but they turned the table last year.
They did not turn the tables Pat
Tate & Lyle sold Thames Refinery to AMH (?) an American company last year, and they have the right to use the Tate & Lyle brand on the sugar that is produced there (or the rights on Tate & Lyle sugar branding per se ?)
The parent company Tate & Lyle was not sold and it was viewed by the city as a good move of Tate’s part to rid themselves of one of the troublesome parts of its vast global business & they still remain the biggest sucrose producer in the world.
HTH
Tate and lyle sugar refining buisness has been sold to ASR(american sugar refiners) this includes the thames refinery…the rest of the buisness starches and raw ingriedients etc is still owned by tate and lyles…the T+L name is being used for the period of time it takes to legally change things over then it will be known as ASR trading as T+L
