That f7 does look familiar but don’t remember it in Sandside. Was obviously ex M Woodhouse who did have one or two 8 wheelers in Sandside everyday.

Yes Barry i remember Spud :astonished: I watched him come flying into the yard one Sunday morning in his Reno 5, ■■■■■■ up  and smacked it into the weighbridge. He never did me any harm. Operation Flintstone!!! what a joke  £250 fine i got for that :imp: after a come into the office talk of Mr Ministry man. Me and Bob Mayoh got the same fine, Bob packed up driving for Terry Eastwood after that. I don,t remember that 6 Legger Scanny? the first wagon i can remember was the Daf then John Knowles? ERF which you did,nt like?

Just for you mark the daf 75cf 290 6x4 ( cracking wagon ) came after the scania. My Erf :imp: belonged to Steven Moor from Arcow. Tommy Cornall bought Knowlys Erf.

NO PICTURE OF THE DAF? Ha you didn,t like that ERF :open_mouth: The ERF that Whiteside had at the time was a flyer Celect 380 ■■■■■■■ and twin splitter plus a tune up at AJA Smiths!! not much touched it in Bankfield until the Essex boys came up. Remember that Foden that climbed the highway in the sky on the LIMITER fully loaded!!! :grimacing: I did ngts out of Cross Green (Raisbys)for Whiteside and i passed every wagon by the time we had got to the Leeds United ground on the M621. I wish i,d took some photos of the wagons in Clitheroe in the good days  are you going back to being a duck again?

At the time of that Truckfest pic it was run by a lad called Kevin Batty who later had an ERF E series 6 wheeler
