and how much money does the union leader earn a year 
more than his drivers he’s representing im sure.
It’s ok, they’ve taken the money for working during Easter. Time to sharpen the teeth and bite the hand that feeds them now.

Strange that when drivers stand together for better pay and conditions people are very quick to say theres plenty out there to do there job the reason tanker drivers are well paid is because they stand together and wont accept less maybe theres a lesson for us all to learn
They are right.
We are not in a Comunist Country,so everyone can decide for which Price he works.
As long as he has the Power.Why not?I could do so too,if i were Brave enough for that.
How wonderfull all we drivers are, all moan about the low crap wages and conditions we are set for" the most important jobs" we do , then ! we slag off those that stand by each other for better { no } the basic conditions that were set down in the ADR industry but which are slowly being eroded by major { logistics companies} who are cutting each others throats just to get a contract, End result — WHO TAKES THE CUT. the drivers …Maybe flapper you would enjoy working for your crap rate or your crap conditions , but I know I would not
Same problem with supermarkets since credit crunch refusing to take on fulltime even though needed with plenty work there but take ■■■■ with agency bods standing by phone with no security.
Normaly I hate unions and strikes but this cause is just.
Of course it is pavoroti but only the guys with the bottle are willing to do it, everybody in the transport industry has the potential clout to get better pay and conditions but maybe they are just happy in their own little world, me … I always moved on till I got the better conditions.Not happy their loss.
no no no no im not talking about me working for crap money or they have the bigger nuts because “they all stand together” there are those on this site that are owner drivers they are getting sqeezed by the bigger companys i bet they would like a bit more ,and there are those who work for the family run companys that cannot afford to pay more their the ones struggling and falling off the picture because of the bigger multifranchise companys doing the runs that are not realy paying the price off deisel let alone wages .and no i woud’nt work for crap money 
but im semi retired,and im getting the same hourly rate now as i was driving trucks from dusk till dawn blood sweat and tears and all that but i still follow the “job” at home in the truck mags and on line so why does’nt everyone stick together then chaps you all have the same rights hav’nt we all got big balls i assume its easyer to talk about it
For the same reason they didn’t when you were working fulltime, drivers would rather give the boss ■■■■■■ favours to get a shiny truck , or to wrapped up in cutting the runs up to give a ■■■■ about each other, good luck to em
