So i took my first steps towards getting my licence today. Had my medical this morning which was all good so sent that away and waiting for my licence to come back, untill then its theory, theory and a bit more theory for me so im ready to take it once i got my licence back and booked it
One thing im not too sure is how i go about getting my cpc and when is best to do each modules e.g. when im doing my theory, training or after i got my full c or c+e
Any advice on the cpc side of things would be much appreciated.

For the cpc ask your training provider about this take it you passed your car test after 1997 also for booking your theory & HPT
As my trainer booked all for me from medical through to test less hassle for you
Depends where you are & who you have booked your lessons with
Didnt even think to ask my training provider about the cpc ill ask him about it once i done my theory and HPT as im going to see him for an assesment drive then and to book lessons already have estimate quotes off him and from what iv heard he’s a pretty decent trainer.
Depends on who you going with yep he can be named as this would not be seen as advertising when you have finnished you may be able to recommend him if he not already on the list
Think some of the cpc is done through your trainer sorry I have grandfather rights to this so just have the periodic 35 hours to do

Cheers feeling better about the cpc now was unsure before about what to do and who to go to but like you said my trainer should be able to answer all this for me, im going to be getting my training from Huw Williams Driver Training (Angelsey) been recommended by some one i know and im sure i found a old post here saying he was good, so if he steps up to the mark i shall recommend

Thanks very much carnt wait to be let loose on the road when i got my licence, i will keep you all up dated on my progress, planning on going for c+e straight after i pass my c depending on how it well it goes
Had my licence back to day with my provisinal entitlments on it so got straight on the computer to book my HP and MC just a waiting game again untill they are done then i can book my lessons.
I have my HP booked for the 22nd of this month and my MC booked for the 5th of april bit of a gap between them but it was the closest i could get them together and i suppose that gives me time to focus on my HP for now and then my MC afterward.
