Taken the plunge!

A new year, a new skill (hopefully!).

Have just paid the deposit to Flair Training, and looking forward to getting all the ticks in boxes, and meeting John & Co. Will keep a bit of a diary going as to how I find the training - am aiming to go C, then straight into C+E (well, as soon as possible afterwards). I don’t know as yet whether I will end up driving commercially (hope to one day), but I always promised myself that I would learn one day, after driving my first Class 1 (141 no less!) at the age of 9 - I wasn’t meant to, but thought I’d be helping Dad out by moving it forward 3 feet or so whilst it was on a side-bay in Germany. It actually went further into the air than forwards, closely followed by me when Dad found out!

As for why I chose Flair - I was impressed most of all with John’s comment the other day, where he rated himself 3rd best in the area - I like people who can be objective like that!

Thanks

Gary
