having been on the end of many extortionate tyre bills and downright criminal tow charges over the years in “la hex” i’ve just managed to extract a bit of revenge on our french cousins - a transport firm i’d never heard of rang late friday with a 4x2 unit nicked at perry bar for 14.2te on his drive - i duly supplied a 6x2 unit very early this morning to take his trailer to north wales, but boy did they pay for the service :laughing: i bet they weren’t getting that amount all the way from france in the first place :wink:

one thing i didn’t realise though, the nice young lady from VOSA told me that as we were pulling the trailer to get it released from “custody” we could run at 44te on 6 axles rather than 41te :question:

I remember only too clearly getting pulled at Whitfield late on a Sunday evening and being parked up in Husks yard :frowning:

A certain Mr Michael White charged me £600 to deliver my trailer to Northwich :exclamation:
