Does anyone remember TAIT,S OF YORK did a lot of work for Portacabin York & Littleborough Lanc,s.They had 4/5 unit,s based i littleborough The driver,s in Littleborough Jack can,t remember his last name,Brian Dearden,both dead.Dave Parr and myself Barry Lang,with Les Fisk runng the office and shunting.Icarn,t remember many name,s from York but do remember Ian Denby does anyone know where Ian is now?

Hi Ste It was about 3 mth,s ago He was still living in round Rochdale i saw a bit in the observer,after the funeral or would have gone used to have a good laugh with him he was a sound lad Must be about 35 yrs ago.i use to drink with him Saturday dinner when we fished work,in the Wheatsheaf in Littleborough there were lot,s of driver,s in there then (not anymore ) from Tait,s and Leach,s good time,s All the best Bazz
Hi, I remember Taits. Think there was John and Richard, could be wrong. My dad was a mate of theirs, drove now and then for them. I can remember going to their bungalow near the airfield with my dad. I don’t think they had that many trucks though.
